What Cersaie is and what it asks of a stand

Cersaie is the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, held every year at the end of September at BolognaFiere. Tile and large-slab manufacturers, bathroom furniture, sanitaryware and fittings brands meet architects, interior designers, distributors and contractors.

International manufacturers, including companies from China, exhibit next to the Italian ceramic district. Tiles and slabs are heavy, and they have to be seen laid, not stacked: the stand is a construction site with a deadline, where walls, floors and settings must be built and finished in a few days.

What a stand for Cersaie needs

Structures for heavy materials. Walls and floors sized to carry tiles, large slabs and sanitaryware, with fixings verified.
Real settings. Bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces where the material is seen laid and lit as in a real project.
Sliding sample panels. Pull-out panels and sample walls to show many series in a small space.
Lighting for surfaces. Grazing and diffused light that shows textures, colours and finishes faithfully.
Laying in the build-up days. Coordination between the installation crews and your tilers within the official build-up schedule.

Exhibiting from China or from abroad

Most of our international clients have never worked with an Italian stand builder before. This is how we make it simple.

One contact person. From the first sketch to dismantling you talk to the same person, by email, phone or WhatsApp: in English, or in Chinese with the help of translation tools.
Coordinated crews, warehouse and production. Partner installation crews, our warehouse and trusted workshops for all wood-based structures and furniture, coordinated by one team: one point of control over quality and deadlines.
Large and two-storey stands. From small shell scheme stands to custom stands of over 300 m², including two-storey stands with meeting rooms upstairs.
We work with your design. If your designer in China has already drawn the stand, we build it, check it against the Italian technical regulations and propose changes only where needed.
Contract with your company. We sign and invoice directly with your company, in China or abroad, with an itemised quote in euro.
Approvals and certificates. We submit drawings to the organiser and provide the electrical declaration of conformity and fire-rating certificates.
Your freight forwarder, our schedule. Your exhibits travel with your forwarder; we coordinate unloading slots and times so goods and stand arrive in the right order.
Storage for the next edition. If you exhibit every year, we keep your stand in our warehouse in Italy and bring it back for the next show.

Every wooden element, made to measure by proven partners.

Walls, counters, desks, platforms, display units, shelves and furniture in wood: we design them around your brand, have them built by selected partner workshops we have worked with for years, and manage transport and installation at the fair ourselves. One contact person runs design, production, transport and installation, so you never have to chase separate suppliers. We use Class 1 fire-rated certified materials and have already built more than 300 stands.

No third-party mark-up

Builders without production buy walls and furniture from others and add their margin. We don't: for the same stand, the price is lower.

FAQ

Questions we are often asked.

Can your walls carry tiles and large porcelain slabs?

Yes, if designed for it: we size structures and fixings on the materials you will show, so we need sizes and weights early.

Do you lay the tiles or do we bring our tilers?

Both options work. We can coordinate your tilers with the installation crews or organise the whole installation for you.

How much does a stand for Cersaie cost?

It depends on floor space, type of structure, finishes, electrics and services. We do not publish standard prices: we send you a free itemised quote for your project.

Can we communicate in Chinese?

Yes. Write to us in Chinese or English: we reply in Chinese with the help of translation tools and confirm important technical details in English too, to avoid misunderstandings.

Is the stand rented or bought?

As you prefer: shell scheme, modular, fabric or custom-built, rented or bought. If it is yours, we store it for the next edition.
